History: Her parents are originally from Scotland(Glasgow, to be precise), and immigrated to the United States when Zoe was six; her father was transferred and they settled on the East Coast. Zoe had a good childhood despite being teased for her "funny" accent which has since thinned considerably, though she still has a touch of that Glaswegian patter. At sixteen, she fell in love with a boy and followed him to New York, where she fell in with a bad crowd because of her boyfriend's influence. From there, she became addicted to Heroin and it wasn't until she overdosed one night that she made the decision to clean up. It was difficult, but she managed to make it and she's been sober now for just over five years. She still attends Narcotics Anonymous meetings regularly. She came to Boulder about three years ago, wanting to get away from New York and its demons, though she realizes she'd probably have more success with her art if she'd stayed there. She doesn't regret her decision. She became a member of the Club about two years ago when she became involved with an older gentleman who was a fan of her art. They're no longer in a relationship, but Zoe is extremely fond of him and they see each other at the club and meet regularly for lunch. She enjoys the shocked looks they get when together: him distinguished and older and her, young and with multicolored hair. Zoe is a bisexual switch.
